The Commonwealth Games will be hosted in Australia’s Gold Coast next month.  It all kicks off with the Opening Ceremony on 4th April 2018 and culminates with the Closing Ceremony on 15th April 2018.

The Commonwealth Games is made up of 71 Nations and Territories from 6 Continents.

Nikki Trebert-Pond (pictured below) will be representing Guernsey at Pistol Shooting.  She is competing in the Women’s 10m Air Pistol and 25m Pistol Events.

The Belmont Shooting Centre will host the Clay Target, Full Bore, Pistol and Small Bore shooting events. The Centre having received a $16.5 million upgrade to meet international competition requirements in advance of the Games.

Nikki’s first competition will be 10m Air Pistol which will be held on Sunday 8th April and she will shoot her final competition 25m Sport Pistol two days later.
